Why it works

Benefits of our wood finishes work

Practical advantages our clients notice on site, not marketing claims.

Grain matched layouts

Veneer leaves are book-matched across shutters so the grain runs continuously, not randomly.

Dust-free polish process

PU coats are sprayed in a controlled bay and cured before installation, avoiding on-site dust nibs.

Fingerprint-resistant matte

Anti-fingerprint matte laminates keep tall units looking clean in high-use family kitchens.

Edge sealing as standard

All exposed edges are banded and sealed, which is what stops swelling and delamination later.

Typical applications

  • Wardrobe shutters
  • TV units
  • Kitchen shutters
  • Panelled walls

FAQs

Questions we get about this category

Veneer or laminate?

Veneer gives real wood depth and can be re-polished; laminate is more scratch-tolerant and lower maintenance.

Does high gloss show scratches?

Acrylic gloss shows fine swirl marks over time. We suggest it for upper units and matte for high-touch lower units.

Can existing shutters be refinished?

Sound carcasses can keep their frames while shutters are re-laminated or re-polished, which saves 30 to 40 percent.
